What does each button do?

Press the menu button (bottom left), scroll down to “setup WiFi” and click select (also menu button). Now open up your phone or computer’s WiFi screen and wait for BLOCKWATCH AP to appear. Click it. Once the configuration screen opens up, click configure, then click the available connection SSID and finally input your password. Your BLOCKWATCH should now be connected to WiFi and will automatically update the watch faces.

How do I power off the watch?

BLOCKWATCH automatically goes into deep sleep mode when there are no functions being run. The e-paper display will continue to display the last image loaded while in deep sleep mode or even when completely dead.

A standard micro-USB is required for charging. No, it is not provided. Usually they can be found around the house.

Is this a cold storage wallet/hardware wallet?

No. BLOCKWATCH’s QR code is generated by your public BTC address that is input into your watch. No private keys are held on the device. You can receive sats by way of the QR code but cannot send them.

No. That’s for fiat clocks only.

How to tell if watch is connected to wifi?

Accepted Answer

If the background is black and text is white, you are connected and viewing live counts. If you see a white background and black text, you're offline.
 
The block count is probablisitc and will continue to add an estimated count while offline, then sync when reconnected.
